Now available at affordable costs from GE are tube lights in an orange & yellow pkg. for about $7 @ any store in the flourescent tube section of lightbulbs. Also found closeby are the "Under-cabinet" PLUG_IN light fixtures that you can put an 18" GE "SUNSHINE" tube into. Total cost at Walmart was $13 !!! Plug it in on your desk while you work, sink area while cook, or nearby while you read---it works!!! Got me thru a lonnnng dark and dreary winter! Good-luck!
