I too have GS and am suffering really extreme abdominal pain at times. I have found that the older I get the worse it has become. I think that the reason is...Dr's have misdiagnosed me with IBS and have prescribed different kinds of meds none of which helped of course. I am now 31 years old and am very frustrated with this disorder and know very little about it. Only that it is "maybe" genetic and is caused by a lack of liver enzyme. It is encouraging to know that someone else has experienced the same discomfort as I have! I have been told---It is all in my head! Imagine that! Does anyone have any updated info to give? I really would appreciate it.
