Our twenty five year old daughter has finally decided that she must be lactose intolerant due to her many repeated bouts with stomach cramps and gas after eating several different cheeses (gargonzola, feta, blue and others), drinking instant breakfast mixed with milk and eating cereal. When she was an infant she suffered from severe colic. Could she have had this intolerance since that time and we didn't have enough sense to put two and two together? She has now learned to stay away from the products that bother her. She has some pollen allergies as well.
