I was diagnosed with DVT 12/21/99 . dvt is from top of left foot to past thigh. I know you must be full of question because I also have ask a million. I was placed in hospital two time in past 7 weeks and flooded with heprin and then placed on warfarin for home use. A vascular specialist is the best bet if the dvt is of any size. your family dr. should not be offended if you feel a specialist is needed especially since you are pregs.
