My husband had a hip replacement done last January, 1999. For eight months he got along great. Went back to work in three months. Today he is in more pain than before the surgery. The doctor has been treating him for bursitis for the past five months with anti-inflammatory meds, pain meds including morphine and shots. Nothing is helping. Has anyone had this same problem or a similar problem following hip surgery. If so please advise us as to what you did.
