I had lasik surgery in August 1999 ; it was great at first but then I started having problems with dry, scratchy eyes. I have been going to my eye Doctor every two weeks and he has inserted plugs in my tear ducts. It doesn't seem to help too much. In addition to the plugs I put thera tears in my eyes as often as needed and at bedtime I have been putting antibiotic ointment in my eyes. I am still bothered with the dry eye syndrome. Anyone have any suggestions?
