Is there any alternative treatment/cure for polymyalgia rheumatica other than/in addition to the use of corticosteroids, I have a friend who has the disease and he finds that the corticosteroids he is taking make him sick and he finds eating difficult. His GP has prescribed tablets to help his eating but they don't seem to work. He has the disease for one year.
