Hi! I am a mom with two children born withHyddrocephalus. Jen is 23 yr. and working at her Children' Hospital, where she was many times a patient. She is a Pediatic nurse. My son is 15 and he an 13 yrs. had a new procedure called a Ventriculostomy. This means that My daughter was shunted at 3 days old, while my son was diagnosed at 10 months, treated with drugs theraphy and when he was 13 needed a the above surgery, which is very much less invasive, and recovery is only 4 days.
