An allergist should be able to do skin prick tests on any food, not just the common allergy food sources that are supplied to allergists in liquid form. My allergist has tested me with several foods that I've brought in; things I've made at home, things I've brought in from restaurants, etc, using the skin prick method. Good Luck!
