Hi my name is Pam from Illinois. I have a little information for you. I took my Dad today to a Dr for the procedure you are talking about. He is not a candidate. He has also had the laser and has that permanent scar from laser. I believe maybe it has been to long also approx 1 1/2 years. We were also told today that this may only restore a little of a persons vision. I understand this to help someone that is in the process of it happening to them at the time.I may be wrong but that's how I understood it. That this procedure actually helps it to not worsen. I believe my Dads has had to much damage already. I hope I'm making sense. Please write back to me with more questions.
