I am facing the need to have my breast removed, which I am very apprehensive about, but knowing that NOT doing it, will have fatal results. I have been fighting this since June 1999, seeking chemotherapy treatments, into radiation therapy and now have discovered that instead of improving my chances, my lump has greatly increased in size and have become "aggressive". Can anyone visit/email me concerning what I can expect from surgery such as time away from work, disabilities, emotions, costs? I am really scared, and just need someone to talk to.
