Stacey, I am a 19 year old female who has been dealing with dysplasia for over a year now. A lot of the treatment depends on how severe your dysplasia is. My doctor did a colposcopy which let her look at the cells and take a small biopsy. It is not painful there might be a little cramping though. No other treatment is necessary if the dysplasia is not bad. They will keep an eye on it. You will go back for paps every 3 months until they come out normal.
