                        Maybe you're trying too hard to fall asleep.  What I would suggest you do is set your alarm clock for the same time each morning, regardless of what time you go to bed.  I would even do this on the weekends (some people tend to want to sleep in on Sat. & Sun.).  Also, if you're taking a nap earlier in the day, stop.  Eventually maybe you will actually be *tired* when you go to bed and your incidence of insomnia will be reduced.    Hope this helps.  Good luck.
