I have diarreah and am passing blood. My doctor gave me rectum exam today and wants me to go have a Colonoscopy done. He is checking for diverticulitis because I had irritable bowel syndrome 15 years ago. Of course he is checking for other things, polyps, colon cancer etc. Needless to day, I am terrified. He told me that I would be given valium and would not remember a thing. I am running a fever right now and I had sever cramps this afternoon which has gone away. If someone has gone through this, please share your experience with me. Thanks.
