I have a 13 year old daughter who was diagnosed with marfans 3 years ago. she has struggled with alot of social problems with peers at her school and problems with even some of her teachers, especially the gym teacher who believes that my daughter is just using her "bad health" as a excuse not to participate in class( even though I've already provided her with a statement from the cardiologist!) I'm hoping that I will be able to find another teen who has marfans, who can be a e-mail pal. also I am interested in doing the same for myself with another parent of a marfan kid.
