Gulf War Syndrome / Illness/Silent Killer.

I went to Kuwait from February 1992 through May 1992 while working as a civilian for the United Nations Compensation Committee. My task was to evaluate and quantify damages inflicted by the Iraqi's and by the coalition forces. It has taken several years to figure out what was wrong with me. First, I had to convince my doctors that there WAS something wrong with me, because every test I had came back negative. Eventually, I could no longer hold down a job, lost my house and was bankrupt. I am now on SSDI, compared to the six figure amount I was earning before I was poisoned with the biological, chemical, and radio active Depleted Uranium. I have learned that it is transferred by saliva, semen, and through the jet stream over our country. It is now spreading throughout the general population. Many doctors believe it it an outbreak of Lymes Disease because of the symtomatic similarities. However, the Lyme's Disease blood test panels come back negative; indeed, the tests come back showing a patient in perfect health. The doctors tried desparately to convince me that is was all in my head. There is no test, or cure for this killer. What the purpose of this letter is to find someone, anyone, with this dreaded disease, to be a pen pal. I feel very much alone out here and would like to connect with people just to get some of these things off my mind. I know there are thousands like me out there, still living, who would like to share their daily frustrations and perhaps make the two or three of us feel a little bit better for the effort. Anyone want to try? I'll be watching and waiting. Thanks a lot. Daniel W, Hemet, California.
