Progression of Scleroderma

I have had Raynauds since the 1970's. In the mid 1990's I was disagnosed with scleroderma. My other symptons were skin pigmentation loss, tightening of skin on hands, occasional lethargy, rheumatoid symptons and difficulty swallowing. The Raynaud's has seemed to improve over the past couple of years and the lethargy episodes are occurring less frequently. The other sympton problem of swallowing was actually linked to acid reflux and I have had procedure of expanding the aesophagus two times and have been taking prescribed prevacid. That also is better. I have seen two high profile cases on TV and a magazine article. One concerning Jason Alexander's sister and one other, a TV actor's sister who actually died with the disease. Are there alot of people who actually improve over time rather than deteriorate? I would be interested if there are studies of people who improve and people who deteriorate with the disease.
