In response to the person who is having a second bout with EBV, I was diagnosed about 6 months ago, and it was bad for about 4 months. (same symptoms that you described) After feeling better for a while, it would reactivate for a few days, whenever I was sick with something else, ie. cold, flu I'm hoping that it won't continue this way. I use ibuprophen for pain, and throat lozenges when needed. I wish you good health! Julie
