I am now 25 years old. At the age of 12 it was confirmed that I had scoliosis and that I was going to have to have sugery. I had a Herring Rod placed along my spinal cord. I have never had any problems with it until recently. I now have severe pains in my shoulder area and between my soulder blades. I am unsure about how common the procedure is . I need to know if anyone has had to have Herring rod replacement before. Please contact me if so. I would love to talk with someone who understands my situation.
