                        I know exactly how you feel.  work at this point is impossible.  I am a substitute teacher, who was working every day and I have had to take time off due to health problems that I have.  I also have a kidney disease and I have read that people with kidney disease many times develop RLS.  I too can barely function in the day because I hardly ever get any sleep and then I stay so tired the rest of the day, I find myself in a daze half the time.  I am actually afraid to drive.When I do, sometimes I don't even remember it.  The only thing I have found that even helps me a little is doing calf exercises. It relieves RLS only temporarily and then it starts all over again.  Most people think I am crazy when I tell them my symptoms and think it is all due to stress or worrying, but as you know it is a REAL problem. Nice to know that there are others that understand.  good luck to you.
