I have a problem with shortness of breath after surgery for a diviated septum that was operated on 9/16/00. I have been unable to sleep, have been to ER 3 times. Doctor said it was because I should have had the throat surgery along with this. Although I don't know how I would have survived the operation with a swollen nose and throat. I could barely tolorate the Diviated Septum Operation. I haven't had one nights sleep since operation. Could I just be losing my mind or hope for the best with the throat surgery - taking out my toncills and part of soft tissue around the Uvala?
