My 7 year old daughter has a unicameral bone cyst in her upper right femur; it was grafted 2 years ago and has recurred. Her surgeon had put in 3 screws when she did the graft, so it has not broken again this time. I'm trying to get more info. on grafting versus injections (steroid/bone marrow). Has anyone heard any percentages? Shriner's Childrens Hospital is doing research and looking for subjects. I could either go back to Denver for another bone graft or to Salt Lake to try the bone marrow injection. Help--I don't know what to do.
