I have been diagnosed with Herpes I & II, Epstein Barr, along with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Got sick of yeast infections from antibiotics and stopped for a month. Just dawned on me it's been a month since I stopped and I've been itching a month and bruising myself from scratching so hard all over. Used Benadryl twice a day just about every day. Tried using herbs as antibiotics. Noticed I feel fatigued and not well lately. Is the itching actually caused by the virus if not treated with antibiotics and does anyone know why? Started back on valtrex to see if it helps stop the itching. Was on famvir. Doc thought valtrex might not cause yeast so much. Anyone know anything about the constant itching? Thanks.
