my motherinlaw has had pd for apprx. 30 years. she just now went into a wheelchair but is experiencing severe pain in both legs mostly the thighs she says it feels like a burning she has a high threshold of pain but cries when these pains occur. after 3 weeks in the hospital no cause was diagnosed the pains have gone from 2-3 a day to 5-10 a day her neurologist is stumped she is on sinnamet and mirapex. the next step is to cleveland clinic for more tests she does'nt want to go she has severe hallucinations while in hospital setting most doctors she has seen don't believe this is aparkinson symptom but some chat rooms i've read many people complain of this pain with their parkinsons. please send helpful advice if you know of any.
