I have a five year old son with DYSPRAXIA. He goes to private OT and Speech Therapy once a week and attends preschool with special need services. His school also has interaction with typical peers. His speech is limited and when he is not understood he uses his Dynamite (an augmentive communication device) he tends to leave the ending sounds of words off when talking. However he has come a tremendously long way since last year I am curiouse to know if any one else out there has a child who has been through this and hadn't talked clear at five and later talked clear or clearer after five?? He is very smart, and typical of all peers except speech. He also plays soccer, base ball and wrestles you would never know the difference unless you would talk to him. If any one can give me their experience would like to know what is typical and what is likely to be! Thank You, Mother of an Angel!
