first off, thank god i'm not the only one out their. i thought i was crazy and so did a few bad doctors, which didn't help. i was diagnosed about 3 years ago. the pain back then was unbearable and i ended up being on vicodin for a few months straight. it didn't really help the pain but being in la la land made me feel better. the pain is better now thanks to less stress, but i know i will never be completely stress free so i want a cure!! i've tried dmso, didn't help. i've tried diet modification, didn't help. i've stopped drinking any sort of alcohol, still no relief and after reading the other topics about elmiron it doesn't seem like that stuff does much either. i want a surgery! has anyone had a surgery to help this condition or heard of one. i wish my nerves to my bladder could just be severed. sorry to sound like a maniac, but after 3 years of having a dull aching bladder i am a little insane! :) let me know, thanks fellow sufferers. amanda
