I was given 6 units of blood-hemoglobin was down to 5. Tested with tube down my throat to check my stomach, given an upper and lower GI series-all came back negative. I was released with a 9.5 hemoglobin and no reason for the loss of blood. I was told to take two iron pills a day. It's been three weeks and I'm still very tired, weak, confused, can't remember simple things, tearing eyes, headaches, bruise easily, trouble sleeping, and little appetite. Any suggestions as to what's wrong?
