my nephew is a closed head injury patient and is now on kidney dialysis. He had an access put in his left arm. His left side has limited mobility and circulation is extremely poor. Surgery was 3+ weeks ago and his hand, arm & shoulder are extremely swollen and the swelling is not going down. Doctors thought he has a blood clot and the sonigram showed nothing but now veins are showing up all over his trunk and he is still swollen in his upper body and face. Doctors are speechless. Is there anyone who has information on closed head injury patients who are on dialysis and problems they might be experiencing. It is disheartning to not know what is going on and doctors are saying they don't know what the problem is.
