i have a five year old daughter who was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa when she was two years old and after a short time later I noticed that she is slowly progressin in speach and mental development and all kinds of tests and X rays and blood and urine tests were done. EMG showed abnormality in muscle strength and a muscle biopsy was done two months ago and it was normal and the MRI showed she has problem in the ganglia (part in the brain) and she is now almost six years old and no diagnosis was found. Now she is falling a lot more than before and started walking more on her toes and have no balance on ground. I am having a hard time to keep her from falling and getting injured and you cannot imagine how many times she falls in one day. My priority now is walking matter before anything else at least she might be able to walk alone (she is a very active child) I cannot ask you about that because can't tell you the diagnosis yet but only one question that is always in my mind is that if there is any chance that my daughter mignt not loose her vision completely and if there is any operation or any treatment to restore her vision and also if there is any doctor anywhere in the world who can operate on her eyes.
