My 7 year old son has been assessed by a behavioural specialist at his school today. She has told us he has dyspraxia. His verbal skills are excellent so I assume it is the developmental kind. I am so relieved! It's great to know that his behaviour isn't my fault - I am a single mum and often think I have not been strict enough with him. I was so glad to read your posting and find out more about Dispraxia and I am very grateful to you for taking the time to write it. I had already looked up a lot of information about ADHD as that was what we originally suspected he has but I knew nothing of Dyspraxia. Richard also is showing ADHD tendancies, so I now know for sure it is not inadequacy on my part. Thanks again, and I'm sorry for rabbiting on! Best wishes to you and your family Karen
