How your son is feeling will vary by the minute. I am 30 yr old female diagnosed with mg in 1996. I am suprised your son had mg at 5 because I was told it only effects men after they are 60. I feel very exhausted most of the time. That is my main problem. I some times want to sleep forever. There have been periods when I sleep for 12 hrs or longer and I still do not feel rested. Before I had a child (she is 14 months now I was feeling really good) I had accupuncture done in late 1996 and it put me in to remission. What a relieve that was. Remission lasted for a long time and then once in while I would have symtoms of weakness in my arms mostly and still today mg affects mostly my arms. If the mg is affected your sons eye sight he is struggling. When the eye sight is affected live is a bitch. Excuse my lanquage. The way one sees is not explainable. I saw everything double when my vision was effected. Defiantely the accupunture helped my vision problems and my eyes are still good today. I do not know if that is because mg has moved into the rest of body or because of remission. Its really hard to say. I would really like to know what symtoms your son shows because I am concerned about my baby. She sleeps more than the average child and this scares me.
