I do not have a fast heartbeat, but at times, my heart beats so hard, I can feel it pounding in my chest, and it's almost uncomfortable. I do have a mild heart murmur, and when my heart beats real hard, I can feel when my heart does skip a beat. I don't know if there is a name for this condition or not. I mostly experience this when I am at rest. Usually I'm much too active to stop and notice until I try to lie down and go to sleep. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it.
