I have been scheduled for surgery on April 2nd, 01. I have a wonderful Dr. at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. He has worked on many famous athletes and comes highly recommended. I will be having a diskectomy without fussion. I have no fear at this point I believe because my Dr. and I have formed a relationship on open communication and his efforts to completely explain my situation and the benefits/risks of surgery verses plain old pain management. I am 33 and do not wish to live in pain for 30 more years so I am electing surgery. I will update my condition for anyone interested in my results sometime in May.
