My oldest son turned 13 in December and is not quite 5' tall. I am 5'2" but my husband is 6'2". One boy in his class has taken a 7 inch growth spurt over the last year and a half but my son has just grown the normal 2 inches a year. His pediatrician says he has normal delayed growth and may not spurt up until he is about 14. He has not done any testing though. Is this pretty normal?
