I have recently been informed that my twin girls may have this condition.One of them is much worse then the other. She finds it hard to dress, play ball games, remember things,and both have general learning difficulties in all areas. The girls were born 3 months premature with a very stormy noe-natal history.They received OT,Speech therapy, Portage all pre school age but once they entered school full-time the help stopped.I have now been fighting the local education department for some extra learning support help for the girls,they recently agreed to help as one girl is 3yrs behind and the other 2. A doctor recently assesed the girls and said they might have this condition dyspraxia.It has not been easy trying to exsplain to people that my children take much longer to do things then their peers. I just hope the road ahead gets easier for them as everything has been so hard so far.
