my mom has pulminary fibrosis. she was told last august that she had it. she only has 1/3 of a left lobe. we have been told by doctors that she is in her last stage. she is on oxygen 24 hrs a day. she has had to increase from 2 to 3. on her machine. she has gotten where she can't breath. she struggles just to get a breath. she can't take cortisone because she has osteoporosis extremly bad. she is 80 yrs. oldher doctor just put her on pulmicort respules. i'm not formilure with this med. can anyone tell me where we're at? she had a mini stroke about 4 weeks ago. she lives with my husband and myself. she has had about 17 bouts with congestive heart failure since last oct. a year ago.i'm afraid its going to get to the point that i can't care for her. do you have a lot of pain with pulminary fibrosis? she has been in an awful lot of pain she is on durigesic pain path 50 ml.it causes a lot of confusion. but nothing else relieves the pain. i'm just about at my last end . help me to understand what is going on . the doctors won't
