Can anybody indicate some effective preventive medicine therapies for kidney stones and/or therapy during a stone period. I am trying to avoid sugery and the like. Moreover, I have heard that there are some interesting methods for graphically diagnosing stones or risk factors for developing stones. The traditional methods are very difficult to comprehend for the layman --can anybody help? I guess I am very fortunate not to have this problem myself, but someone very close to me often suffers and I'd like to help as much as I can. Thanks for any help, tips advice received.
