Candice
I had the same condition for about a year. I was in a knee high black boot for 6 months, had 3 cortisone injections and did all the therapy, wraps, heat, ice & a cast. Finally a year ago this month I had the surgery. Even after it I didn't think I'd ever feel better. But now, 1 year later (as my doctor predicted) I feel wonderful. I have custom made orthotics & wear athletic shoes ALL the time. With the support of the orthotics & my shoes & can do things I did before I ever got the Plantar Fasciitis. All I can say is give it a try. But do absolutely EVERYTHING your doctor tells you to do, including the shoes, to get the best results. Good Luck!
