In routine blood work in Oct, it was discovered that my ALT was elevated (94). On retest in Dec it was 80 and still 80 in Feb. I'll get results tomorrow on latest but if still elevated they want to do a biopsy. Does it hurt? I keep asking if it could be my gallbladder...I'm having discomfort under my right ribcage...nothing bad..more like a pulling pushing sensation. They keep discounting the gallbladder but I still think thats it. What kind of things are they looking for with a biopsy? Hepatitis test was negative. My sedrate is also elevated..any suggestions?
