I am scheduled to have a biopsy this month. I had several ct scans which showed air cysts , infiltration and nodules.The drs. are hoping it is from an inflammatory process (I have had Sjogrens for 15 yrs). He explained it would be done with 3 incisions in my left side (back) and a scope is inserted - with a camera - one of the nodes will be taken along with some tissue for examination. He did say there would be significant pain following and a chest tube would be in place. I have a lung specialist and a Rheumatologist who agree this is the right thing to do. Has anyone had this procedure?
