My test were also neg. I had no voice at all. They did a goiter removal in Sept. 1999. It came back i had a complete thyroid removal in Jan. 2001. the goiter was cancer. Even if your test are neg. ask your dr. to remove it anyway. I have no voice at all now and haven't been able to talk for three years, they just recently said i had a paralized left cord. Please have that goiter removed. chris
