I hope someone can answer my question! My GYN wants to put me on Provera for Disfunctional Uterine bleeding. My only problem is I'm not ever to be put on any type of Hormone pills due to being hospitalized 2 years ago with a blood clot. They ran tests & ruled out everything that could cause blood clots. I was on birthcontrol pills at the time, so they assumed it was that. I do not smoke either. My sister also had a blood clot prior to that. I read in webmd about the rare dangers of provera and blood clots and was wondering if anybody , preferably a Hematologist could direct me or give any advice.
