i have a herniated disc at C 6-7; i have been out of work 3 mos (i do computer work-it's repetitive motion injury); i did chiro, acupuncture, (2) epidurals, and am now in physical therapy; my orthopedist is recommending disc removal with fusion; i too have seen dr. schiffer's site, mailed him, and he said i was a good candidate; but worker's comp will not pay, it's so expensive, and i am trying to see if there are any east coast drs. who perform this procedure; also interested in hearing post-op results from anyone who may have undergone this procedure
