I have been diagnosed with a large 6 inch ovarian cyst on my right ovary. I am due to have it surgically removed in 4 weeks time. I feel OK most of the time but suffer from a period like pain and feel more tired than usual. Does anyone have any advice for me on whether I should take things easy or can carry on living normally until my op. I am wary of doing simple things like lifting, housework and would like to carry on having sex with my boyfriend but am scared that I might hurt myself. Any advice would be much appreciated on these issues as well as tips on getting through surgery.
