My son was born 4-13-2001 with bilateral choanal atresia and had surgery at 3 days old where they drilled holes thru the bone and then put in stents for 3-1/2 weeks to keep them open. Since then, they have closed back up twice with scar tissue and has had to have more surgery. If it happens again they will put the stents back in. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
