I had a clot in my calf due to the pregnancy of twins. 3 days after i gave birth my leg began to swell along with my foot. the doctor sent me for a scan and it showed a deep vein thrombosis with a pre-existing clot. i was put on coumadin by the vascular doc and was taken off 6 months later. I continue to have soreness and slight pain on and off till today. my regular M.D. told me its common to still have soreness and pain. However, how would i know if a clot returned?
