Two months ago I had a DVT and a Pulmonary Embolism, and was diagnosed with A.P.S. I’m 27 yrs old, I don’t smoke, but I was on birth control pills and I do travel at least once a month. My doctor and Hematologist put me on coumadin and I have been taking it on a regular basis. Is it possible for me to have another P.E? What does the coumadin actually do to my body and how does this eliminate the P.E? Thanks!
