Occasionally over the last 25 years I have had problems with hemorrhoids but have used OTC products and discomfort stopped. Now, I've been having problems for the past 3 months and have finally made an appointment this week to see a proctologist. I am so hoping that he can help me without any major procedures. I've read about lasers and "rubber bands". It's really become a problem and one I need corrected.
