My son's wife (27 years) has a 3-yr. old and 10 mo. old. Day before she was to begin a part time job, diarrhea and nausea started and has been happened each time she was to go to work. Has also passed out during the episodes. (Has now lost job). Dr. has diagnosed it as post partum depression,and she is taking antidepressants; she keeps losing weight and all the life appears to have left this once beautiful girl. Could this be something else? She had the same symptoms before she became pregnant with 2nd child and had a colonoscopy to rule out Crohn's disease. Please respond as this has created a huge financial and personal burden of all the childcare to my son.
