Hi....my mom was just diagnosed with DDD and i am here trying to find out as much info for her as i can. She has suffered for the past several months with excrutiating pain in her neck and finally, after trying physical therapy, chiropractors, sports medicine type therapy, has been told what she has. Now we need to find out what we can do and since i do medical transcription, she has asked for my help, as far as what she can expect, but basically my knowledge of this disease is limited to what the doctors dictate and not what may actually work. Please let me know of SOMETHING that relieves the pain and will help. She has yet to go to the doc as she just found out this evening. Oh and she hates needles....so the acupuncture route may be out of the question :) Thanks to anyone who can help us.
